Zapier connects Exayard to over 6,000 apps so you can automate work without writing code. You build Zaps — automated workflows that run when something happens in Exayard, or that perform actions inside Exayard on your behalf.
Connecting your account
Zapier authenticates with an Exayard API key. Generate one at app.exayard.com/settings/developer, choosing the scopes the Zap needs. Your organization is derived from the key automatically, so there's no organization ID to enter.
In Zapier, search for Exayard, create a Zap, and connect your account by pasting the API key. Zapier verifies it and your account is ready to use.
Triggers
Triggers are Exayard events that start a Zap. Available triggers include New Project, Project Updated, Project Archived, Takeoff Started, Assessment Completed, Takeoff Approved, Takeoff Cancelled, Takeoff Failed, Estimate Generated, Bid Generated, File Processed, Quote Requested, Quote Received, Quote Accepted, Quote Rejected, and Quote Expired.
Actions
Actions are things a Zap does in Exayard. You can Create Project, Run Takeoff Analysis, Propose Elements, Upload File, Generate Estimate, Generate Bid, Set Vendor Price, Request Quote, Record Quote Response, and Update Quote Status.
Searches
Searches look up Exayard data partway through a Zap so later steps can use it. The available searches are Find Project, Get Latest Assessment, Get Takeoff Summary, and List Pages.
Example Zaps
When a bid is generated in Exayard, add a row to a Google Sheet to keep a running log of every proposal.
When an assessment completes, post a message to Slack so your team knows the takeoff is ready to review.
