You can move your existing PlanSwift work into Exayard without redoing it. An import brings in your plan pages, their scale, and your count, linear, and area measurements, along with the colors and folders you used to organize them.
Before you start
PlanSwift stores each job as a folder on your computer, not a single file. You'll upload a zipped copy of that folder.
To find it, open PlanSwift and look under its data directory, usually:
C:\Program Files (x86)\PlanSwift##\Data\Storages\Local\Jobs
Each job is its own folder inside Jobs. Right-click the folder for the job you want, choose Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder, and you'll get a .zip file ready to upload.
If you'd rather export from inside PlanSwift, the Zip SwiftJob tool produces a .swiftjob file. You can upload that too, but zipping the job folder is the most reliable path.
Run the import
Open the project you want to import into (or create a new one and choose Import from another tool).
Click Add files, then Import from another tool.
Drop in your
.zip(or.swiftjob) file.
Exayard reads the job and adds your pages, measurements, and cost items. When it finishes, your imported work appears on its own layer named Imported from PlanSwift, so you can show or hide all of it at once.
If your zip contains more than one job, you'll be asked which one to import.
What comes across
Pages and their images, in order.
Scale, when the page was calibrated in PlanSwift. Pages without a scale come in uncalibrated, and you can set the scale yourself.
Count, linear, and area measurements, with their shapes, colors, and any cut-out areas.
Folders, mapped to categories so your takeoff stays organized.
Cost items attached to a takeoff, brought in as line items with their unit and price.
What doesn't come across yet
Formula-driven prices. PlanSwift prices that use a formula are kept as a note on the item rather than calculated, so you can review and re-enter them. A simple per-unit price comes across as-is.
Template libraries. Only the job you upload is imported, not your saved PlanSwift templates.
If a measurement or page can't be read, the import still finishes and lists what it skipped, so you always get everything it could bring across.
