Upload a plan set and Exayard reads it automatically: it builds the sheet index, finds schedules, legends, notes, and spec sections, and compares sheet revisions. There is no button to press, and set analysis costs no credits.

While analysis runs, a Set card above the project tree shows progress: Analyzing sheet set..., Reading specifications..., and Comparing sheet revisions.... When it finishes, the card summarizes what was found: sheets, schedules, legends, spec sections, and any sheets listed in the drawing index but missing from the upload. Each count is clickable and jumps to the matching view.

The card is honest about gaps. If pages were unreadable or a schedule was found but not read, it says so and offers a Run again action to retry.

The file explorer gains Legends, Schedules, Notes, and Specs tabs. Page tiles carry chips marking what is on them, like Legend, Schedule, or Spec section.

If sheets named in the drawing index weren't uploaded, a banner at the top of the file explorer lists the missing sheet codes. Click Dismiss to hide it; it returns only if a new sheet goes missing.

Click the Schedule chip on a page tile to open the parsed table, like a door, window, or finish schedule. Choose how rows are named (Tag, Description, or both) and where the quantity comes from (a quantity column, or one per row). Tick the rows you want and click Add to takeoff.

Rows that can't be counted are refused with a reason, and purely informational tables are never billed. Counts that came from a schedule carry a Read from a schedule badge so you can tell them apart from symbols detected on the drawing.

When an AI takeoff runs on a set with schedules, the double-check step reconciles the counted items against the schedule quantities. The Findings panel in the project sidebar reports the outcome: a Schedule cross-check line states what was compared, and any disagreement becomes a review row with the evidence and a suggested action.

Findings never change your numbers silently. Each carries a severity (Info, Needs review, or Blocking) and stays open until you review it.

Upload an addendum or a revised sheet and Exayard pairs it with the sheet it replaces. The older page gets a Superseded pill in the file explorer and on the canvas toolbar.

Click the pill to see What changed in this revision: the two versions side by side with boxes marking areas that were added, removed, or reworked. Below the diff, Exayard lists your measured items that sit under a changed area so you know what to re-check, and offers to carry your measurements onto the new sheet, with an Undo if you change your mind.

The comparison reads the drawn lines, so a change made only in color, hatch, or a small text stamp can be missed. Treat the boxes as areas to review, not a complete list of changes.

The chat assistant reads everything set analysis produced. Ask for an orientation of the set, the missing sheets, what a spec section requires, or how an addendum affects your takeoff (a suggestion chip appears when an addendum arrives). You can also ask Exa to extract bid requirements: alternates, allowances, unit-price schedules, and bid-form requirements, quoted verbatim from the specs with sheet and section citations.
