Exayard provides multiple ways to export your takeoff data for use in estimates, proposals, and project documentation. You can print annotated plans and download original files.
Print options
Access print functions from the page context menu in the sidebar. Hover over Print to see the available options.
Current page exports the active page with all visible measurement shapes and annotations. A new window opens with the print preview and your browser's print dialog appears automatically.
All pages exports every page in your project at once. Each page renders sequentially and the print dialog shows all pages together. The menu displays the total count, for example All pages (12).
Pages with takeoffs exports only pages that contain measurements. This option appears when some pages have takeoffs and the count is less than the total page count.
Current view exports only what is visible in your current viewport. This is helpful for exporting specific detail areas or creating focused snapshots at higher zoom levels.
Downloading files
Select Download from the page context menu to download the file. When an original format is available (such as PDF), a submenu lets you choose between the original format and JPEG.
Export quality
Print exports are generated at 2x resolution for high-quality output. This ensures sharp text and linework when printed and good quality when zooming in on PDFs.
Print settings
Configure options in your browser's print dialog. Match paper size to your needs (Letter, Tabloid, A3). Set orientation to landscape for plan sheets. Enable Background graphics to include measurement fill colors, annotation colors, and plan background images.
Preparing for export
Before exporting, verify your takeoff is complete. Review all symbols in the sidebar and check measurement totals. Verify scale is correct on each page. Use visibility toggles to customize what appears in the export since hidden elements do not appear in exports.
Saving as PDF
Most print dialogs offer a Save as PDF option. Select it as the destination, choose a save location, and name your file descriptively. Print to PDF first rather than directly to paper so you can review the output.
Working with estimates
Takeoff data integrates with Exayard's estimating features. Your measurement data flows into estimate line items where you can add pricing and labor information to generate formatted proposals.
