Auto top-up automatically purchases credits when your balance falls below a threshold you define. This feature prevents workflow interruptions during critical projects and is available exclusively for paid subscription plans.
How it works
The system monitors your organization's purchased credit balance. When it drops to or below your configured threshold, Exayard charges your saved payment method and adds purchased credits to your account. Work continues without manual intervention.
For example, setting a threshold of 100 and a purchase amount of $500 means the system buys $500 in credits whenever your purchased balance reaches 100 or below.
Setting up auto top-up
Navigate to Settings > Billing and find the Automated top-ups card. Set the Automatically purchase amount (between $500 and $10,000) and the When credit balance reaches threshold, then click Enable. A badge confirms the feature is active.
Choose a purchase amount that covers your typical usage patterns. Set your threshold high enough to cover a few days of typical consumption, giving buffer time if payment issues arise.
Modifying or disabling
Return to the Automated top-ups card at any time to adjust your settings. Change the amount or threshold and click Save. Click Disable to turn off automatic purchases entirely; the badge changes to show the feature is inactive.
Payment failures
If an auto top-up payment fails, Exayard displays a Payment Issue warning on the Automated top-ups card with the specific error message. After three consecutive failures, auto top-up pauses until you update your payment method through the billing portal.
