Your profile settings control how you appear to other team members and how you access Exayard. These settings are personal to your account and apply across all organizations you belong to.

Accessing your profile

Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the header and select Settings from the dropdown menu. The settings sidebar shows your personal settings at the top (General, Profile, Security, Notifications) with organization settings below. Click Profile in the sidebar to manage your profile information.

Profile information

Your profile displays information that helps teammates identify you. You can update your profile photo by clicking your current avatar and uploading a new image. Your display name and email address can also be edited from this page. Changing your email requires verification through Clerk, the authentication service Exayard uses.

Connected accounts

Link external accounts for faster sign-in. Exayard supports Google, Microsoft, and Apple accounts. Click a provider name and follow the authentication flow to connect it. Once linked, you can use that account as an alternative way to sign in.

Security settings

Click Security in the settings sidebar to access password and authentication options.

To change your password, click the password section and enter your current password for verification, then set your new password. Choose something strong with at least 8 characters mixing uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection. Enable it by scanning a QR code with an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy. Once configured, you will need both your password and a code from the app to sign in. Save the backup codes you receive in a secure location since they are the only way to recover your account if you lose access to your authenticator app.

The Active sessions section shows devices where you are currently signed in. Sign out of any sessions you do not recognize to protect your account.
